Así, como se ve, aparece ante los ojos de un científico, un medico, ingeniero o periodista cubano que este realizando una búsqueda de información en la Internet. A la muy lenta conexión debido a la prohibición implementada por la Oficina de Control de Activos Extranjeros del Departamento del Tesoro y muchas otras agencias gubernamentales de Estados Unidos de América que llevan a cabo la implementación del bloqueo a Cuba, hay ahora que añadir esta nueva acción de negar la conexión a sitios en la WEB de la Internet, no solo ubicados en EE.UU sino también en muchos otros países… Así se ve… Access Forbidden

La búsqueda en cuestión se trató de hacer en el sitio WEB http://www.semiconductors.globalspec.com/ , y consistía en obtener las especificaciones técnicas –datasheet- de un obsoleto transistor de efecto de campo, conocido por las siglas en Ingles MOSFET, para tratar de conocer un posible equivalente con el que se podría sustituir.

El objetivo de la búsqueda –totalmente pacifico- era dirigido a facilitar la reparación de un viejo equipo, cuya vida útil podía prolongarse un buen tiempo de poderse adaptar otros dispositivo en lugar del MOSFET averiado por una descarga eléctrica atmosférica.

Pero lo mismo que le sucedió a este técnico de equipos electromédicos, al "visitar en la búsqueda" el sitio WEB de GLOBALSPEC, como verán a continuación…

Esto les esta ocurriendo a diario a médicos, estomatólogos, arquitectos, sociólogos, sicólogos, periodistas, bibliotecónomos… en fin, a un cubano que trata de hacer una búsqueda de información para actualizarse sobre un nuevo fármaco del cual se han publicado ya varios trabajos científicos, o conocer acerca de nuevos materiales para el tratamiento de las caries dentales, o novedosas tecnologías para aprovechar mejor la energía solar en las edificaciones.

Una ya larga lista de "sitios prohibidos" crece día por día, y como explicábamos al inicio, estos "lugares virtuales en la red de redes Internet", no están solamente localizados físicamente en el territorio del país cuyo gobierno ha implementado el bloqueo más largo de la historia de la humanidad, sino que también se ubican en otros muchos países, sin que en muchos casos las autoridades de esas naciones conozcan que sus propias leyes están siendo violadas por esas empresas.

Error 403 Acceso Prohibido – Access Denied, aparece cada vez con mayor frecuencia cuando se realizan búsquedas en la Internet desde direcciones electrónicas registradas a Cuba, no importa si lo que se trata de conocer es un nuevo tratamiento para una enfermedad, o como aumentar la eficiencia energética para disminuir o atenuar el calentamiento global, por lo que en no poca medida esta política se vuelve, a la larga, en un boomerang contra los que con su odio visceral hacia nuestro país la implementan… Porque quien quita que, una vez más, salga de uno de nuestros centros de investigación científica, de nuestros institutos del sistema de salud publica, una nueva vacuna, un nuevo fármaco o un tratamiento que pueda incluso salvar la vida a muchos ciudadanos de Estados Unidos de América, incluyendo quien sabe a algún familiar o quizás a uno de los mismos funcionarios gubernamentales que implementan esta forma del bloqueo
